Anjali, sanskrit for offering, was founded by husband and wife team Julissa Carranza and Kristinn Sigridarson,
as a way to join their two great loves; yoga and fashion design. After 15 years of working for some of New York’s top fashion companies, they paired their fashion sensibilities with their intense yoga practice demands;
to create a collection of clothes that, ultimately, will contribute more beauty into the world.
Anjali's designers select fabrics that feel good against the skin and are in alignment with a lifestyle vision of what is cultivated in their practice of Yoga. Anjali yogawear incorporates eco-friendly and natural fibers, such as organic cotton, soy, recycled polyester, and eco-heather, into their stylish activewear designs. Using low impact dyeing practices, Anjali designs artwork for their clothing that is meant to remind us, and all that see it, of the inherent beauty and goodness that reside in each and every one of us. |
